This was the last time we played at MARS for a warm-up the weekend before an RLC show.
Pictures* Our lineup included two guest performers. At this early point in the show, Johara is just about to begin her dance. [large picture] * Haaziq and Javaria - a happy couple - awwww.... [small, large] At this point, they've just started dating, but later they would marry and start a family!

- the MARS show above featured a brilliant guest musician, a pianist among other things - but in our shows, he played accordion!
- Apr 2000: Private performance - Atlanta, GA
- We played for a church youth group in a high school cafeteria! We didn't have as much amplification gear back then, but they said they heard our drums just fine... *G*
- May 2000: Red Light Cafe - Atlanta, GA
- Aug 2000: community fundraiser - Pine Lake, GA
- The show was SOLD OUT, standing room only! Sabah, Sherifa, Javaria,
a guest performer, and Haaziq

- Oct 2000: Pre-wedding music - Norcross, GA
- Haaziq and Javaria's wedding. Both the minister and organist at the church said our music helped make this a fun ceremony for them.
Oct 2000: Alabama Renaissance Faire - Florence, AL- Chandani, Sabah and Sherifa played Saturday. Sherifa's picture was at
the top of the front page of the Sunday newspaper!

- We played three sets at the Tenth Annual First
Night Celebration there with help from the Zuri
Middle Eastern Dance Troupe. We were also covered LIVE during one
of the local newscasts! Unfortunately, we're not permitted to post any of
their coverage... *sigh*
We played with Zuri again in November 2002 and March 2003 at Renaissance Faires in the area.
