Apr 2001: Red Light Cafe - Atlanta, GA

We re-arranged and added vocals to two of our songs. This was our first performance with vocals - and the first show with us for both Apsara and Tariq. Apsara's picture on the bios page is from this show.

Also in March/April: Tariq and Apsara began coming to practices. Just three days after the RLC show, we did our first recording session for DWI.

The second recording session was in May. The third and fourth were in June, as was the final mixing. CD production on a budget!

Jun 2001: Festival of Dreams - Atlanta, GA

A convention for the Live Action Roleplaying groups in the region. We played three sets and Sherifa did some solo dancing to taped music.

Jul 2001: Sevananda Market - Atlanta, GA

July 4th cookout and concert. Despite heavy rain, over 200 people came out for the fun. One employee, warm and dry inside the store, was overheard to say, "It was so cool, you could hear the drums and the music and the rain and the thunder, it all sounded like it was meant to be played together!"

Jul 2001: Red Light Cafe - Atlanta, GA

We played three songs from the CD among others in our set. Ladies from the audience danced to "Lamma Bada" with the veils that Chandani brought.

Oct 2001: Alabama Renaissance Faire - Florence, AL

Hot time on a cold day, we played three sets. A few guys in the audience knew the lyrics to Usküdar! (That's one of the two songs on our CD with vocals.) Also - Haaziq, Chandani, and even Javaria(!) all did some dancing.
