Sep 2007: Red Tower XXXV - Rutledge, GA
The last time we'd played at Red Tower was six years ago! At this event, we played several songs at the mixed European-Middle Eastern revel. Aylwin Watkins also joined us on his saz! The European dancers did a "double branle" dance to at least one of our songs. Later that night, after we'd stopped doing songs, we kept the drumming going until a quarter of three in the morning. I was also the coordinator for the event as a whole. This was our first real show with Aylwin playing along, though he was also with us at A Day on the Nile several years before.
May 2007: Private performance
We played a concert at a private party for an audience of about 100.

We played a concert at a private party for an audience of about 100.
Apr 2006: Marriott Hotel - Norcross, GA
Local teacher Tezra invited us to play at her seminar which featured the renowned Suhaila Salimpour. We played in the courtyard before the show and during intermission.

The show was SUPERB. Packed house. The dancers, the lighting, the costumes, the music, the moves, the camaraderie... unforgettable stuff! I also knew or recognized quite a few of the dancers including Saroya, a trio from Awalim, a quartet from Zuri, and Zhaleh Fereshteh, lovely ladies all. Tiffany and Suhaila finished the first and second halves of the show respectively and both were a great joy to watch.
Dec 2004: Nicola's Restaurant - Atlanta, GA
At this cozy restaurant that dishes up delectable Lebanaese cuisine, we played a special show hosted by Saroya. It featured a roomful of dancers (many were Saroya's students), including our friend Nyssa. Unlike last year, THIS year we played most of the music -- twelve songs(!!) plus an extra during the intermission that was impromptu! Despite dreary weather, it was a sellout crowd.
